GIJN has 250 member organisations in 91 countries. They publish articles across 12 regional home pages with translation into more than 40 languages. The website redesign involved restructuring their archive of articles and guides dating back to 2003. The original material was loosely structured, with translations linked together through hyperlinks and various tagging systems. The work began by restructuring the content, mapping out the relationships between articles and their translations, and migrating these into a fully multilingual site.

Across the homepages, regional editors author new articles and guides, and curate the material that appears on their home page. Each home page features a selection of articles, guides, videos, projects, events, and job opportunities.
