Open-weather Website
Open-weather is a feminist experiment in imaging and imagining the earth and its weather systems using DIY tools. They maintain an archive of decoded images from NOAA satellites, recorded by ground station operators around the world.
Their redeveloped digital infrastructure involved the creation of new version of open-weather-apt, an open-source in-browser APT decoder, and a direct-contribution pipeline in which ground-station operators can upload .wav files directly to the website and into the archive.
