An Image of Colonial Violence Pulled from the Air is a book by the forensic investigation agency INTERPRT. It proposes a new lexicon for research, action and legal advocacy against environmental crime, organised around concepts, legal terms and methods and illustrated with material from INTERPRT’s investigations.

We designed it as an interactive ebook, with lexicon terms cross-linked to the projects where they’re put into practice, and embedded video alongside images and footnotes. Behind it is a content management system, where the editors manage material and export the finished book as an EPUB.
