Airwars

June 2018 – ongoing
Project 31 / 47
next

Airwars monitors and assesses civilian harm in airpower-dominated international conflicts. The redesign of their website began with a redesign of their CMS and database and the creation of forms and fields to directly correspond to their incident assessment process.

The restructuring of this information allowed for the redesign of the site as an archive of civilian harm incidents that can be filtered and searched according to a broad set of metadata. This information also informs a set of historical visualizations as well as graphics and video materials that respond to current events.
